The sealing and decoupling membrane provides reliable sealing and decoupling under tiles and slabs. It prevents moisture damage and stress cracks in the covering, making it particularly suitable for demanding applications in indoor and outdoor areas.
Typical areas of application include bathrooms, showers, kitchens, living areas, as well as balconies and terraces. The membrane is waterproof and chemical-resistant, making it ideal for wet areas and transitions.
The membrane consists of a polyethylene film laminated on both sides with fleece, which acts as a vapor retardant and crack-bridging. It is aging and alkali resistant as well as non-rotting. Additionally, it is suitable for underfloor heating and meets the requirements of DIN EN 1928.
